High Flying Adventures in Africa

Lincoln Aviator activities include an introduction to conventional flying. You will be guided by a qualified flying instructor and actually fly a Cessna 172, one of the World’s top trainers. After a brief theory lesson, and once take off has been completed, the controls of the aircraft will be in your hands. Under the guidance of your instructor, you will be shown how to fly the aeroplane.

The next exciting adventure is to experience the joy of flight in a Hot Air Balloon! Imagine being woken up in the early morning, handed a cup of steaming coffee, and transported to a launch site deep in the African bush. The balloon is inflated and once all are aboard, you glide effortlessly far above the tree tops to gaze down in silence as the African bush passes below you. This almost spiritual experience is guaranteed to stay with you for the remainder of your life. After your safe touch down at the end of your one-hour flight, you will be treated to a sumptuous Champagne breakfast in the African bush at a nearby Game reserve.

Now is your chance to experience the thrill of Microlight flying. You will meet your instructor at the airfield on the KZN South Coast, before you enjoy a flight in this versatile little aeroplane, affording you breathtaking views of the coast line and some wave-top flying that will take your breath away!

We are proud to offer you a Glider flying experience — to soar with the eagles, and be at one with those of the air. The airfield is situated on the outskirts of the nearby town of Howick, where your instructor awaits. Once safely strapped into your Glider, you will flown to an altitude of 6500 ft. above ground level, when your Glider is set free to fly the thermals.  The thermal will further increase your altitude, and prolong your gliding experience, until safe touch down at the air field some 30 minutes later.
